Mike started with the guitar at age 6 after relentlessly begging his parents for lessons. He has played in many rock bands in the area and had a stint in a jazz band that toured throughout Europe. "I just wanna play" is his motto. When not onstage, Mike is a photographer and avid outdoorsman. He can often be found lurking about the northland attempting to fill his freezer or take that perfect photo.
